ARRINGTON, VIRGINIA - Gnarly Routes rider Russell Bobbitt made the trip to Virginia for round four of the national enduro series.  Bobbitt placed his KTM 250 SX-F inside the top ten with an eighth overall finish.  The weather actually cooperated, an early morning shower just as the riders were leaving the starting line primed the track for some of the best conditions in the series this year

BOBBITT:  “This was the first time racing at this location, and it didn’t disappoint at all! Some of the best single track and true enduro trails all day. The club did an outstanding job cutting some new trail and we couldn’t have had a nicer day!.”

After all six special tests, Bobbitt landed an 8th Overall for the weekend. With some competitive times early on in the day, there was a solid group of guys battling within some close times. A little bad luck in Test 3 sidelined the 113 machine for a brief moment as a stick jammed itself between the rear wheel and brake line, however, Russ was able to get back moving without too much of a loss.

With the first 4 rounds in the books already, Russ looks forward to his hometown race in Greensboro, GA! Gnarly Routes will also have Cole Kirkpatrick attending this event and contesting the Pro 2 class! We will be shooting for a double podium that weekend!
